How I work

During our initial consultation, we will discuss your therapeutic needs and evaluate if we're the right fit for one another. We'll also discuss my current fee structure and together reach an agreement that's comfortable for you. 

My private practice is all private pay. I don't accept any insurance or managed care assistance based on ethical beliefs, and I'll be happy to discuss that with you when we meet for our initial consult.  I accept cash, personal checks and most major debit/credit cards, including HSA cards. A sliding scale is available for those who qualify to offset the cost of being a private pay client.
 

Although I specialize in trauma, I also work with clients and couples struggling with life transitions, relationship dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression, vicarious trauma and grief & loss issues. It's not a requirement for you to have an acknowledged history of abuse or that you are currently experiencing it in your life to work with me.

If for any reason we determine I'm not the right therapist for you, I'll gladly make appropriate referrals for you.
